Paris, 1851. Lebrun. (4)+239+(1)+159+(3)p.+30t.+1 térk. Első kiadás. Lapszámozáson belül számos illusztrációval. A magyar történelmet (különös tekintettel a szabadságharcra) bemutató kötet szerzője rendkívül érdekes figura volt. Fiumei kereskedő, majd a Magyar Kereskedelmi Társaság igazgatója volt. Kossuth bizalmával visszaélve elsikkasztotta a társaság pénzét, majd Párizsba menekült. Itt a magyar ügyet népszerűsítő folyóiratokat indított, majd a bukás után kiadta a fenti kötetet. Enyhén kopottas gerincű, későbbi félbőr-kötésben.
