First edition. A description of the most important sources of Hungary's history. Its author, Johann Georg Schwandtner, the Austrian historian was a pupil of Mátyás Bél. Behind each wonderful copperplate initial the landscape of a Hungarian town is seen. The work also contains 3 ornate copperplate title pages and 8 maps (3 with double pages and 5 folding). One map is missing from our copy. In contemporary half leather, slightly worn, spine repaired.
